Google Chrome Browser
We know about various browsers like Internet Explorer,Firefox etc whose purpose is to let the user navigate or explore the whole world by accessing merely net on their system. Google Chrome is also one of the various browsers. It is highest than both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3 .
Google Chrome is a free browser developed by Google which combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. So,its more user friendly. It supports 43 languages and detects the language itself. It runs v8, which is an open source javascript engine & written in C++ . Just because of which its speed is good in browser's performance. As it is based on WebKit layout engine and integrate tab-based browsing along with Google Gears and the latest version of the company’s search technology, called Omnibox so it is known for its speed, fast response and smart memory management.
Let us discuss what is this Omnibox is?
Omnibox, replaces the address bar and search bar in the Google Chrome browser. It also allows replication of webpage’s own search box, allowing site and query strings to be entered simultaneously. It has a homepage of nine instant-access shortcut thumbnails along with recent search history and recent tabs & the tabs themselves got switched to above the window.
Chrome almost seems like an operating system and not a browser alone. Its name is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or "chrome", of web browsers. 26 different code libraries from Google are used to assemble Chrome and others from third parties such as Netscape.
It periodically downloads updates of two blacklists and warns users when they attempt to visit a harmful site. So it provides security also. Its browser automatically downloads constantly updated list of harmful sites in the background. It also supports the Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface but does not support the embedding of ActiveX controls.
Several websites performed benchmark tests which consistently reported that Chrome performs much faster than all competitors against which it had been tested, including Safari, Firefox 3, Internet Explorer 7, and Internet Explorer 8.
Chrome also supports process management utility called the Task Manager. Hence it allows the user to "see what sites are using the most memory, downloading the most bytes “.Chrome is also multi-threaded, meaning it can perform multiple processes at the same time.
Google Chromes each tab is an independent process. If one tab crashes there won't be any effect on the other tabs. Every tab has its own due to which memory management becomes very easier & hence eradicates the reasons for memory seepage. So its a browser which adds on new functionalities along with those of the previously being used browsers.

Android platform a software stack for Mobile Devices
The Android platform is a software stack for mobile devices. It has an operating system, middleware and key applications. Applications are made by developers for the platform using the Android SDK. Its all the applications are written using the Java programming language and run on Dalvik.
Android is the first free, open source, and fully customizable mobile platform. Android offers a full stack: an operating system, middleware, and key mobile applications. It also contains a rich set of APIs that allows third-party developers to develop great applications. Android enables developers to easily create great mobile applications.
It is important to have a cell phone that closely fits your needs, and the G1 Android's Market place feature is something which is sure to make new G1 as unique. The G1's reason for so much popularity is that it is runs on Google's open source mobile software platform.
Android is not a mobile phone which most people mis-assume. It is based on the Linux operating system. Android supports all common media formats for videos, songs and pictures. Such as MPEG-4, H.264, MP3, AAC, AMR, JPEG, PNG, GIF. It supports all the present cell phone network providers namely GSM/EDGE, CDMA, EV-DO, UMTS. It has also the features of bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is a freeware software and anyone can make applications using the java programming language and share it with others. This is the main and will be the most important selling point of google android. It also supports text and picture SMS, MMS and the new XMPP(directly contact with other people without any softwares like yahoo messanger or skype)
The Android Market comes pre-installed with the G1. So its users can start downloading and customizing their new G1 right out of the box. What actually happens is that as soon as the desired app is found, the user can read all the important information about it.
It just needs one time installation and then it runs on the phone and keeps the process running so that users take advantage of the G1's Task Switcher. This Task switcher is responsible for the user to switch between all current processes without the need to close any one of them. So multi-tasking is a plus point in it.

Identity Authentication Through Fingerprint Biometric Verification
Identity authentication is a component of identifying identity fraud risk. Advances in technology through fingerprint biometric services have lead to biometric verification becoming a potential tool in identity verification.
What is identity authentication? The authentication process involves validating the identity presented is the actual person. It goes further than typical identity verification and seeks a confirmation that the person presenting the ID accurately is the person being represented by the ID.
Beyond Paper Identification:
The problem with paper identification is it is not tamperproof. Efforts have been made by states to increase security of state-issued ID cards; however, those looking to perpetrate fraud have been able to keep up with the technology changes. How can you keep up with a criminal element dedicated to staying one step ahead of paper identification cards? The answer, you need to change the identity verification process to an identity authentication process.
Examine the below identity verification system. If a system was able to achieve the below, what would the result be for potential identity fraud risk?
- Electronically capturing photo IDs.
- Detecting false or tampered IDs.
- Connecting IDs to fingerprints.
- Verifying identity.
- Automatically verifying age.
- Retaining comprehensive transaction history.
The above demonstrates the need for comprehensive identity authentication systems to help mitigate identity fraud risk. A secondary requirement becomes apparent when you look at the steps required by comprehensive identity authentication systems--the need for speed of validation. As a result the system needs to be both accurate and efficient. How can this be achieved in point of service situations?
Multiple Verifications Mitigate Identity Fraud:
There is a statistical assumption that the more verification checks performed, the better your chances are that you are mitigating identity fraud risk. To perform multiple verifications will require an additional expenditure of time. To keep the process of identity authentication accurate and efficient, what verifications checks need to be performed? In the previously list there was an item called "Connecting IDs to fingerprints," this verification action can help hold the key to identity authentication.
Connecting IDs to Fingerprints, the Role of Fingerprint Biometric Verification:
Advances in fingerprint biometric technology have resulted in the ability to conduct biometric verification. TrueID from ChoicePoint has the ability to capture and link a fingerprint to a single ID record. The result is a mitigation of identity fraud risk and fraud risk resulting from an individual attempting to use multiple identities.
Fingerprint Biometric technology provides identity resolution, or the ability to match one person to one identity. The ability to find identity fraud patterns also prevents individual users from making multiple ID fraud attempts. A final benefit of fingerprint biometrics is that the fingerprint images are stored and available to law enforcement and prosecution of identity fraud suspects.
Uses of Biometric Verification:
The ability for fingerprint biometrics to connect a single fingerprint to a single identity becomes desirable in various business applications. Biometric verification can mitigate identity fraud risk by linking a fingerprint to a single stored identity. This technology becomes desirable in situations where high security is required for identity authentication prior to new business being conducted. Applications such as opening a high-value new account or authenticating an identity through repeat transactions illustrate the need to implement biometric verification.

Subliminal Software and Subliminal Messaging Programs
Subliminal messages are ideas displayed too fast to consciously see but fast enough to imprint in your unconscious mind. This software can be used to train yourself, get rid of bad habits, or to implant the idea that you need a raise into your boss's mind. Subliminal messages are most of the time put into in another object, visual or audio, designed to bypass the normal limits of perception, or the conscious mind. It functions by impacting the subconscious mind, which through links of communication is in turn able to affect the conscious mind.
We are constantly exposed to subliminal messages daily. Be it in advertisements, on the radio, the internet or the TV, we can find subliminal messages in all of them. A subliminal message can be as simple as a form of communication between two people. Whether you conveyed a message on purpose or unconsciously, you may unknowingly send out a subliminal message.
The question that you may want to ask is then, do subliminal messages and software work, and if so, how effective is it?
The effectiveness of the subliminal software is reliant on how it is made. In other words, the purpose and content of the directive that is being sent. Whilst one singular suggestion or message may not be effective, when placed together with similar messages or repeated messages, it has a better chance of taking effect. the reason for that is because the subconscious will have much more exposure to that particular message, and hence be more likely to act on it than the other messages that it has picked up.
Subliminal software is commonly used in advertising to create a sense of familiarity or preference for new products. According to Dr Johan Karremans, subliminal messages have a much better effect when the messages are relevant to a specific target. This is done through the process of subliminally priming a certain result without the recipient being aware of it. However, if the recipient does not want to purchase the product in the first place, the subliminal message is unlikely to work. It works best when the person intends to purchase a certain product or service, by influencing which brand or store the person chooses.
In subliminal advertising, it is very common to use directives to observe a response from the targeted audience. It can be as simple as a “Buy Today” message! Since our subconscious mind is not capable of logic, it just takes in all information that it is exposed to, without you consciously doing so. It is constantly awake, not needing rest even while your conscious mind is asleep.
Subliminal software can also be found in music, such as in the renown case of a British rock band, Judas Priest. The Judge who went through the case made a claim that the suicide of the two young men would not have taken place unless they really intended it to do so, and that there was no scientific evidence. However, subliminal messages can and will have an impact on human emotions and behavior only if it is done unconsciously. The Coke and popcorn test had also ended with being able to produce scientific or substantial evidence under controlled conditions.
Subliminal software really works, but much of it depends on the intent and the message that is being sent, as well as the receptiveness and the continuous emphasis of the message to the recipient. Further, with the effect of priming, 80% of the subjects in a test were found to show preference for a certain brand. Although subliminal messages may not affect everyone, it does affect the behavior of most.
